Our History

The goal in 2023

How did the Journey begin?

Having met as undergraduate students at the University of Adelaide in the 1990s and taking diverse career paths in Engineering and Medicine (and academia) in two continents (North America and Australia), Co-founders Srinivas Sardar and Renuka Visvanathan focused on this collaboration from 2022.

Srini is a seasoned veteran with experience building enterprise scale systems (previously Principle Engineer/Director at Cisco), has worked with large healthcare enterprises and was recently Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Elisity, a cybersecurity company. Renuka, had just completed a wearable sensor & AI clinical trial involving 1245 patients in the intervention arm, aimed at preventing falls in geriatric medicine and general medicine wards, hospital areas without intensive monitoring capabilities.

Srini’s vision of leveraging technology innovation for healthcare through scalable healthcare platforms and Renuka’s clinical understanding of the benefits that real-time and remote monitoring of vital & physiological measurements could deliver outside of heavily monitored areas such as intensive care units, has eventuated into a cost-effective integrated solution for enterprise systems supporting the virtualising of healthcare, whilst providing clinicians with the tools to intervene early, avert complications, achieve quality care and improve services.

Our Founding Team

Mr Srinivas Sardar
Founder and CEO
Most recently a Co-Founder and Vice President (VP) Engineering at Elisity Inc., a cybersecurity company , providing Zero Trust Security and an Identity Based Micro-segmentation Solution. The Elisity solution was successfully deployed in some of the largest enterprises including healthcare companies in the USA and UK . Prior to this, Srini was Principal Engineer/Director at Cisco. In his Cisco Journey , Srini worked on Industry trend setting /multi Billion dollar revenue products in Software Defined Networking and Virtualization Networking/Security products. In that role, he worked with some of the largest Health Enterprise companies like Cerner and United Health Group (UHG). Srinivas holds a MS in Computer Science from Arizona State University, USA.
Professor (Dr.) Renuka Visvanathan MBBS, MBA, PhD
Chair of the Clinical Advisory Board
Most recently, completed a pragmatic clinical trial investigating the effectiveness of a wearable sensor-based artificial intelligence system in preventing falls in older people, securing funding (AUD$ 1.6 million) from the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia . This research was a finalist in the 2019 South Australian Health Awards, in the Minister’s Research and Innovation Award category. In 2022 and as part of the United Nation’s Healthy Ageing Decade Initiative, Renuka was recognized as a leading global expert in ageing and was announced as one of the inaugural Healthy Ageing 50: leaders transforming the world to be a better place to grow older.Renuka, a geriatrician, earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Adelaide.
Professor (Dr.) Malcolm Pradhan MD, PhD
Chief Medical Officer
Malcolm is a specialist in Health Informatics with over 25 years of experience, including more than 20 years experience in commercializing clinical products. He co-founded Alcidion Group which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2016. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor in Digital Health at the University of Sydney, and provides advisory services to health companies for product development and go-to-market strategies. Malcolm holds a medical degree from the University of Adelaide and a PhD in Medical Informatics from Stanford University, California, specializing in AI and decision theory. He is a founding fellow of the Australian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH)..

Professor (Dr.) Chris Carpenter
MD, PhD
Dr. Chris Carpenter MD is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Vice Chair of Implementation and Innovation at Mayo Clinic-Rochester. He is an Emergency Medicine physician. He served on the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Board of Directors from 2019-2022 and continues to serve on the American College of Emergency Physicians Clinical Policy Committee.  He is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Academic Emergency Medicine, as well as Associate Editor for both the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society and Annals of Internal Medicine’s ACP Journal Club. 
Professor (Dr.) John Muscedere
MD, PhD
Dr. John Muscedere MD, FRCPC is a Professor of Medicine, Intensivist and Clinician Scientist at Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Center in Kingston, Canada. Dr. Muscedere’ s research focuses on improving the outcomes of critically ill patients by generating new evidence and knowledge translation through clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses. He is the Research Director for the Department of Critical Care Medicine and has extensive experience in clinical research, both investigator initiated and industry sponsored. He is also the Scientific Director and CEO for the Canadian Frailty Network (CFN).
